People living in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre have been invited to see local NHS decision-making in action next week.
The next meeting of the Governing Bodies at NHS Blackpool and NHS Fylde and Wyre Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams, from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesday 16 March 2021. Both meetings will take place at the same time.
The role of the Governing Bodies is to oversee the work of the CCG and ensure arrangements are in place to allow the organisation to effectively carry out its duties.
Dr Adam Janjua, chair of Fylde and Wyre CCG’s Governing Body, said: “The CCG Governing Bodies make some very important decisions and we encourage anyone with an interest to come along and observe the meeting.”
Members of the public can request to attend the meeting by emailing email@example.com by 4pm on Monday 16 March, providing their name and a contact email address or telephone number. Information on how to join the meeting will then be provided.
Local people are able to ask questions regarding items on the agenda and these should be emailed by noon on the Friday before the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org. A response will be sent directly to the individual who raised the question.
