It is Healthwatch’s job to make sure the views of residents are taken into account when health and social care services are being planned and provided, and also to signpost residents to help when they have an issue with services.

There are two Healthwatch organisations covering the Fylde Coast.


Healthwatch in Fylde and Wyre

Healthwatch Lancashire is the independent consumer champion for health and social care services in Lancashire.

Healthwatch in Blackpool

Healthwatch Blackpool is the public voice for health and social care in Blackpool and exists to make services work for the people who use them.

Healthwatch Blackpool makes sure that your views on health and social care services are listened to by those who manage and run local health and social care providers, report concerns to the health regulator, the Care Quality Commission, and feed intelligence on a national level to Healthwatch England.
