Patient and Public Engagement and Involvement Group

People Working and Feedback Concept

The Patient and Public Engagement and Involvement (PPE&I) Group is an advisory body which supports both CCGs in making sure the voice of Fylde Coast people is at the heart of NHS decision-making.

It is an amalgamation of Fylde and Wyre CCG’s Patient and Public Engagement (PPE) Group and Blackpool CCG’s Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Forum, which were brought together towards the end of 2018.

The group is co-chaired by Governing Body lay members for both CCGs, Kevin Toole and Helen Williams.

It includes representation from Healthwatch, patient representatives and people from the community, voluntary and faith sector, including those representing older people, carers, children and young people and the LGBT community.
