NHS Blackpool Clinical Commissioning Group hosts the North West Ambulance Commissioning Team responsible for negotiating and performance managing the Paramedic Emergency Services (PES), NHS 111 and Patient Transport Services (PTS) contracts on behalf of the 31 Clinical Commissioning Groups across the North West. The team leads on the transformation of ambulance and NHS 111 services, which are vital in the delivery of Integrated Urgent and Emergency Care.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a successful, progressive CCG; working on behalf of, and interacting with, organisations across the North West. The role will suit someone who is keen to be involved in a demanding Urgent and Emergency Care environment and who wants to make a positive contribution to the quality of patient services provision.

The role encompasses a range of administrative support and secretarial services including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes for formal governance groups. The post is based at Blackpool Stadium but will involve travel to venues across the North West. You must be confident to work without supervision and will need to have experience of organising meetings, including formal minute taking.
