With 11,500 patients you will need to run clinics where you will consult, diagnose and treat patients. Working within your competence limits, you should be able to see a wide variety of adults and children with existing and new illnesses.
Set on the edge of a beautiful village, with free parking, child care vouchers and clinical mentorship, the Over Wyre Medical Centre will help support you with any further learning you may need. The Over Wyre Medical Centre will also provide you with mentorship and professional journals to help keep your practice up to date.
You will be expected to be part of the leadership team in the surgery and will need to be a visible and approachable source of assistance for the other nurses in the surgery. You will be asked to help maintain the high standards of care, health and safety and knowledge which make our Medical Centre a friendly and satisfying place to work.

•Start date from June 2019 onwards but we are willing to wait for the right candidate.
•Currently one Advanced Nurse Practitioner and one Nurse Practitioner (1.56 full-time equivalents).
•Six GPs (5.00 full-time equivalents).
•Dedicated COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, CVD and CKD nurses.
•Lancashire Coastal GMS, Semi rural, Part -dispensing, Two centre practice for 11,500 patients; with spacious, modern premises.
•Recently Rated “Outstanding” by CQC (Inspected January 18). CQC rating includes Outstanding for Effective & Well Led and Outstanding in all six of the population groups.
•High QOF because of excellent team spirit
•28 days annual leave + public holidays pro rata.
•Hours and salary are by negotiation, dependant on qualification and experience. Band 8a (Agenda for Change).
