NHS Blackpool CCG and NHS Fylde and Wyre CCG are looking for a Director of Quality, who will be an Executive Member of both CCGs’ Governing Bodies.
The two CCGs have been working together for the past year and are partner organisations within the Fylde Coast Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) which aims to tackle the many challenges associated with the health and wellbeing of the Fylde Coast population. The Fylde Coast ICP is one of the five health economies across the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS) working to make progress on the implementation of national and local health and wellbeing priorities including the clinical redesign of services, population health management, health and care integration, and collective improvements on the financial, performance and quality agendas.
The Director of Quality will lead on a number of areas for the two CCGs, working with partners across the ICP, including: quality, safety and experience of care from all commissioned providers; guardianship of the patient experience across all care settings including leading safety and safeguarding; ensuring that quality, safety and effectiveness are clearly embedded into service redesign and commissioned care pathways; patient, public and partnership engagement; risk and incident management; and undertaking the role of Caldicott Guardian.
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate relevant and recent clinical practice with a current GMC, NMC or other equivalent registration; and proven leadership and management capabilities at a very senior level.
If you would like to discuss the opportunity in more detail, please contact Maria Louca, Personal Assistant to the CCGs’ Accountable Officer, Dr Amanda Doyle on email@example.com to arrange a telephone discussion with Amanda.
