This is an exciting time for the NHS across the Fylde Coast. We are at the cutting edge of developing new ways of delivering health services, with ambitious plans to integrate health and care across the area.

As part of this journey the two Fylde Coast clinical commissioning groups have come together to support the development of Healthier Fylde Coast, the local integrated care partnership. The Strategic Planning & Acute Commissioning team has responsibility for managing planned and unplanned care alongside corporate performance and QIPP.

During this important period of change we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Performance and Improvement Manager to support the CCG in delivering an effective assurance service, supporting staff across the CCG to ensure that the CCG is an effective commissioner, delivering the priorities and outcomes set out in the NHS Long Term Plan. The role supports the CCG in driving transformation as well as ensuring value for money in commissioning services.

You will take an active role in refining current Performance and assurance processes, developing new improved processes and spreading best practice. You will have experience of communicating highly complex, sensitive and contentious information on performance and assurance to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate a flexible and organised approach, with the ability to work on multiple assurance requests simultaneously, as well as the ability to understand new areas of work quickly. The role will also provide support to the delivery of other programmes of work including QIPP and RightCare.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 26 June. Interviews will be held on Monday 15 July.
